About Me

Hi! My name is Steven Marshall and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I hold an A.S in Human Service Counseling from Southern University, a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Wiley College, as well as a Master of Art in Guidance and Counseling from Louisiana Tech University. I have eight years of experience in the helping profession. My approach to counseling is from an integrative approach. My theoretical approaches of chose are person-centered and cognitive behavioral therapy. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). I am experienced in trauma and abuse, stress and anxiety, anger management, depression, and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and marriage and family therapy.
